Ideas for Lightbox projects!

Hey all! I’ve been inspired by some of the recent postings and thought we could talk about potential ways to use Lightbox 1 carat stones, esp since there are occasionally great deals.

I was thinking it could be really pretty to reset a pair of their 2ct studs as a moi et toi ring!

Any other interesting ideas?

It would be great if they would expand into different shapes and cuts.

I think someday I would love love love to make a graduated 5 or 7 stone blue diamond ring. I used to hate the idea but it's getting more and more entertaining by the minute lol.

Ohhh I just had an idea. One carat pink with halo, then 2 half carats with halos on the side. So 3 stone halo ring with pink diamond center . I need finger coverage so this would be AMAZING.

Thanks @AntiqueMovalGal, I’m excited especially because I don’t think the rose plated setting does the pink any favors if you like a lighter pink. I saw in another thread that someone set the pink into white gold and it looks so pretty!!

I'm thinking of buying a pink 1 ct cushion or princess and setting in a white gold pave ring. Just trying to decide between cushion or princess cut, but I'm learning towards princess.

I can never get enough eternity bands so I’m tempted to make ones in blue and pink, and I’ve thought of a graduated five stone ring too. No serious plans because realistically I wouldn’t get a lot of wear out of them, but it’s fun to think about.

Quick update that the ring arrived today but the seller did not measure the opal correctly so the Lightbox will not fit

However, I have an OEC that will fit so I’ll be replacing the opal with that diamond
