Ideas for emerald

What should I do with this one? It's almost 3 ct, from the 1900 to 1910, missing two rose cuts. It's in a brooch. Pendant? Ring? Give me ideas. I'll post live pics when I get it.

Do you like the existing setting?

If yes, then it might be worth looking to repair it with finding suitable replacement rose cut stones.

If it was mine, I would probably reset the Emerald in a ring setting more to my liking, like an Art Deco inspired halo with an air gap/line in White God, and bezel-set the Emerald in Rose Gold.

Something like this without the millgrain as I don't like millgrain, and with an added air gap/line around the Emerald bezel-set in Rose Gold:



May also be a ringdant in a Ballerina setting to get the most out of it, like this one:

It's so pretty! I think a ringdant for maximum wear? Definitely a ring so that you can look at it on the hand. I think it would make a lovely bracelet/bangle as well.
