Hello All!

I am asking for help on the idealscope image I got from B2C. I currently have a 1.02 ct center stone but I am thinking on upgrading.. And so here it is. I am also wondering on the specs of the diamond. This diamond compared to my current one have

cut/polish/symm: E/VG/VG and HCA of 1.7, with I color, 1.59 ct

my current stone is: E/E/E , HCA of 1.7, H&A, F color, 1.02 ct

Do you think it is worth it to switch? And is optical symmetry a big issue to performance of the diamond? Thanks!

I am attaching both my current one and the diamond of question. :)

What are the proportions on the big one? It has poor optical symmetry.

It looks terrible! are you open to other options?

the stone that you are considering for upgrade is going to have a much different visual appearance than the stone you currently have. I think that I would continue to look around.

It is one of the worst idealscope images that I have ever seen here. You'd be talking a big step down to trade in your stone for this.

I will definitely look around again! thanks so much for the responses! :)

Your current stone looks like it is very pretty! Did you not buy from somewhere that has an upgrade policy?

As others have said, that IS image is really bad. My guess of the in person look on that one would be a flat toned blob with no contrast at all.
