I am trying to decide between these two stones and wanted some feeback on their idealscope images as to which one looks like the more brillant diamond. I assumed the ACA would have more brillance, but after viewing their idealscope images the ACA appeared lighter to me with the X-factor showing more dark red. What do you guys think?

Flip a coin. They are both going to be lovely. Which style do you prefer is about the only question left. Chamfered corners or eye pokers?

I don''t see the lightness in the ACA that you are talking about. I think it may just be the backlighting maybe?? Just a guess.

I think the darkness of the red has more to do with the lighting. You can''t choose between these two diamonds because of the red in these pictures. They are both great stones. You just have to decide if you want pointed corners or cut corners. I love the x-factor myself!

I prefer the look of the X factor, personally. Plus this one''s a smidge bigger than the princess cut.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions and comments. I was aware that the ASET is a better determining factor for princess cuts rather than the idealscope images, yet for some reason I forgot to post them.
So, here are the ASET images of the two diamonds mentioned above. These two are so close that i''m having a hard time deciding, although I do have the .55 princess on reserve right now.

I have tried to inset the pics into the post, but i must be doing something wrong.

You messed up the X factor link. I fixed it in the quote.

The X factor wins - both are excellent - but the X has more contrast and stronger flashes from the larger amount of blue, and more red means overall light return is better.
So all other things equal the X factor has the best sparkle.
