Hello everyone! I am brand new to pricescope so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong spot. I have a diamond that I am interested in and wanted some expert opinions based on the idealscope and ASET images. I am on a limited budget so I understand that it may not be absolute perfection, but I do like lots of fire. Does this princess cut diamond look like it would be a good one? Thanks so much in advance!

Here is the ASET...

IS (eta: and aset!) looks very nice.

The princess faceting lends itself to lots of twinkle and pinfire, no bold flash and no bold fire. If you want lots of fire I'd go with a different shape entirely

That ASET looks very nice.

But ditto Yssie... you may have been using the term "fire" loosely to describe a birght sparkly stone, but if you literally want fire (i.e., colored light return) then another shape may be better.

Thank you for the input! I appreciate it! Yep, I meant colored light return. I love the fire of rounds, but I started looking at princess cut bc the shape seemed to be more flattering since I have long, thin fingers so I was hoping for a compromise of shape and fire

OK, then I think you should consider a different cut if fire is really what you are after. Have you seen square H&A diamonds? GOG carries them. They are shaped like a princess but they have optics like an RB.

i have heard positive things about GOG. I will definitely look into the square H&A! Thank you! :)
