If a stone is ideally proportioned but the girdle although medium or thin also has a very small area which is Very Thin can the stone still be considered as an ideal proportioned diamond?

Yes, it can...

Thanks Giangi. How does that fit in then because on all the charts on websites ideal cut girdle should be thin, medium or slightly thick?

Giangi are you a jeweller?

AGS grades '0' a girdle that is in average thin, medium or slightly thick... Eg, a stone with ideal crown, table and pavilion and a thin to thick girdle, with sl.thick as average is '0'...
BTW... I'm a student and in my free time a GIA student too... Not yet in the business
