My Husband would like to get me a RHR with a radiant cut diamond. We found a setting we like, (http://www.brilliantearth.com/Celti...ttp://www.brilliantearth.com/search/?q=celtic although I suspect we will either be going to David Klass to have him make something similar, or finding something similar from another vendor, since I have not been impressed with the reviews of the website that has the setting, and there diamonds seem ridiculously priced.

My question is, since we are likely going to be buying the diamond separate and having the ring made to fit it, What percentage ranges should we be looking for in the depth and table of radiants? I prefer the rectangular in a radiant as opposed to the more square look, probably in the .5-.7 caret range. I currently have a princess in my ER and would like something a little different.

Any or suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

There is no simple formulae, But I have seen nice stones around 64% table and 66% depth.
The best tables I know of are Dave Atlas's which you can find in the Tools on the upper right of the top tools bar.

What is your budget for the stone? Have you looked at JA? They can provide aset images that show the light return. They
will provide up to 3 so you have to narrow it down to your 3 favorite ones before requesting. Get input from PSers before
you request because we may be able to eliminate some bad performers without needing/wasting an aset image.

I think the more square ones have better light return but I know you are trying to stay away from that so may be these...

I'm not sure how the light return is going to check out on these stones. Wait to get more feedback.

Thanks for the replies I rally like .6 one. If anyone else wants to give some suggestions. We are trying to stay aright around $1500 for the stone, give or take.

Thanks!
