I''m sure this has been discussed before but I''m a little confused about what the ideal proportions are for the depth and table of a stone. Someone said in a recent post, I believe Giangi, that a good table size should be between 61%-65%. But then when I look at H&A stones they all have a table in the upper 50''s. And what about the Depth. What is a good Depth to have? I can''t seem to get a firm answer.

Thanks

Hi! Maybe I was referring to emerald or princess cuts.

For an Ideal I prefer 54-56 Table and about 59.8-61.9 Depth.
