Are their opinions out there on who has the better IDEAL cut specifications? I noticed there are differences b/t what is considered an IDEAL cut on this site (the Atlas specifications) and the IDEAL cut specs for a Blue Nile Signature Ideal diamond. I assume they are both good...but is either better? Any knowledgeable opinions? Thanks in advance!

You should check the actual AGS or GIA grading reports for each diamond. AGS will say "AGS Ideal 0" and GIA reports will have a grade of "Excellent."

Don''t go by the "signature ideal" or variation given by the jewelers/websites. Often they will grade a diamond with a "signature ideal" but if you check the actual report, the grading is only a "very good" or sometimes even "good."

If the report is unavailable online, most sites offer to send the report to you via email. This typically takes 24hours or less.
