Frustrated. I used my lack of judgment when I posted about taking my own life. It doesnt feel good when you have something worth millions of dollars yet not one person will take there time and look at my stones instead they laugh me out of their store treating me like im not even a living organism much less a person. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thanks

P.S. I have a "hope" diamond. But I bet you would never believe even if you'd take a look and see. 20180520_232141.jpgnote the signature reddish orange light emitted on the outside of stone using not ultra violet but regular lighting. Very beautiful20180516_050902.jpg20180611_110446.jpg

No, I wouldn't believe it unless you had a lab report from a nationally/internationally reputable laboratory ...

Keep believing if that will keep you happy and healthy!

Know that a lot of folks are pulling for you!

Diamond or not I'm glad you're ok!

The science behind the blue Hope Diamonds phosphorescencence and why it glows red AFTER the light source is turned off Is because that the blue colouration comes from Boron. The whole gem, which is wholly blue, displays a complete red glow, in the dark, for up to 5 minutes. It’s incredibly special and amazing.
Your stone isn’t glowing red, merely the light source behind it is shining through. To have real genuine phosphorescence you need to shine a UV light on the gem for a few minutes, then turn ALL the lights off and be in the dark. Then if your stone glows red all by itself, and in the dark, that is real phosphorescence. That’s boron in a blue colour diamond.
I don’t know where you are finding (or buying) your stones from, but diamonds are only found in a few very specific geological locations.
You can cheaply buy a diamond tester on eBay like for $20, they work on the high thermal distribution rate that a diamond has, so they can at least tell diamond (or Moissanite) apart from glass and quartz.
But you don’t seem to want to do this test, or believe it if it’s say “not diamond”.
I’m sorry people are being unkind to you, but you must appreciate that finding a huge raw blue diamond crystal isn’t likely. It’s a crazy thought to them and they have a business to run and think you are being quite ridiculous and wasting their time.
You are getting upset and frustrated because no one else is agreeing with you that they are real diamonds.
You post up photos and ask our opinion and even when we try and explain nicely to you how and where diamonds are found, what the raw diamond crystal look like and that your photos of your crystals are definitely not diamonds, you disagree.
It’s not that everyone is against you, it’s just that you don’t want to listen to us. I appreciate that you really want them to be raw diamonds worth millions of dollars, but wishing and hoping and trying to convince other people, contrary to the real physical evidence, doesn’t turn hunks of coloured glass, quartz or other crystal types into real diamonds.
You can collect them, love them and think they are beautiful but sorry, they just aren’t diamonds.

You don’t want to send your stones to a lab because of the expense given the sizes of these rocks, correct?

Call some independent appraisers. An appraiser will be able to tell you about your stones for far less than a GIA report, and recommend next steps - and his professional opinion will legitimize your claims in everyone else’s eyes, including ours and the jewellers you’re interacting with. As Bron explained - you’re not going to get anywhere trying to sell them without an independent authority’s confirmation of what they are.

I don’t know the backstory to the apology in the original post and I am not going to search for it. I hope you have a support network and are leaning on it @CaliCali.

If you live by a university try taking the stones to the geology department. Maybe a geologist would be interested in looking at the stones and performing some tests (hardness, refractory etc) for educational purposes. If it looks like the stones have value then you may want to take the next step and get them certified.
