ID Jewelry mistake turns to be my gain

So I wanted to order a 18K bezel sapphire and diamond eternity band with milgrain and contacted Luann of ID Jewelry last Friday. Luann was super nice and gave me a quote that was very reasonable considering it is not their stock setting. I went ahead with my purchase and was told to expect it within 2 weeks and most probably by this Friday. So I contacted Luann yesterday to find out the status and she said that they made a mistake with my band and made it with all diamonds instead of diamonds and sapphire alternating and said that her boss was willing to charge me the same price for this band because it was their mistake. So now even though I really wanted a sapphire and diamond band, I was planning on buying a bezel diamond band sometime soon so I was happy but still skeptical as to how it will look considering this was my first experience with them.

They shipped it yesterday and I received it this morning before I left for work. And when I opened the box I was ecstatic because the diamond band is perfect to say the least. The milgrain is divine. Excellent workmanship and turnaround time. I cannot believe I received the band within 6 days. Needless to say I am planning a lot more projects with them.


I took a lot of pics when I received it this morning(And they came out nice too) but did not upload them to my computer yet. I took one a couple quick photos from my iphone that I am attaching here. They are blurry but here you go. I apologize from my wrinkly fingers.

I will post more pictures of the bezel band and my bvlgari band once I go home. My bvlgari band was delivered today and I can't wait to get home and snap some pictures. I am super excited

Thanks everybody. I am excited. I am planning to go to a Jewelry store here in VA where they carry the Bvlgari band to find it out it is authentic or not. It sure looks like it is authentic. I see the makers logos etc. like the listing said and I have'nt found any reproductions of this band anywhere.

Thanks TaylorBug, The stones are 1.5 pointers and it is a full eternity in size 5.5

One more thing, the stones according to Luann are excellent cut but when I louped them not all of them are excellent cuts. and they are G/H color and SI diamonds and they are pretty eye clean.
