ID Jewelry Dilemna for Diamond Huggie Hoops Custom Order

Well I received the earrings yesterday and I am disappointed. First of all, these are not "new" hoops as reported by Luann but are the same hoops with the holes filled in. I know this because I recognize the small discrepancies in the closures and also the enclosed form had the instructions "repair--fill in holes". She told me my new castings had arrived when obviously this wasn't the case. Also,there are still very small holes on the inside of the back hoop near the hinge. I noticed it in the pic I have posted above but I had hoped it was a reflection. There are also a few tiny pits on the back and inside of the hoops. I realize these are very minor issues that wouldn't bother most people, but the hoops are not perfect as I had hoped. I ordered these 2 weeks before Christmas with very clear instructions of what I wanted and I'm still not happy. I am very discouraged with this entire situation and I don't know what to do at this point.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry! I came back to this thread and first saw the photos sent to you by Luann. It looked to me like they'd just filled in the holes, but then you said they'd ordered new castings, so I too thought maybe I was mistaken. Then I read further, and sure enough .... same earrings, filled in. I can see why you're discouraged, and disappointed. I would be, too.

I'm bothered quite a bit by the fact that you were told these were new castings, and they're not. It doesn't seem like that could be an honest mistake.

I spoke with Yekutiel today and he was very kind. He said he already had new castings for me and he would reset the stones. They already sent me a prepaid shipping label for the return. I'll post pics when I get the new pair.

I hope you'll be thrilled with the new earrings. Did you choose to keep the scalloped backs, or go with the straight ones?

phew! It sure sounds like it is moving in the right direction, but its a shame its taken several tries and conversations to get the 'right' earrings. Frustrating for sure --- but maybe it's almost over! Glad that Yekutiel already had the new castings ready to go and prepared to reset your stones. They are doing their best to make it right for you

I hope these next earrings are PERFECT
