I''''m considering a tennis bracelet and looking at different options. I''''m wondering what the quality of ID Jewelry diamonds that they use in bracelets? Are the decent enough quality for a bracelet? Of course I want clean, sparkly stones.

What do you all think of this one?

I have some bezel studs from them and am very happy with the quality. They weren''t GIA stones or anything... just their in-house ones. I''m sure they aren''t quite the same as hearts and arrows stones but I was very happy with the price and quality.

I''ve been eyeing that one off too!! I emailed Luann about the diamond cut/clarity this morning, actually. I enquired about an eternity ring a while ago and the prices were for all excellent cut F-G SI diamonds, so I''d imagine they''d be about the same? I''ll let you know when I''ve got the goss

It seems a really good price for 3.00ctw! Me want.

I am looking for a bracelet too, and while I love their prices I went to a very good local jewelry store that carries high end jewelry and designer brands. And I really could tell the difference between the Hearts of Fire melee and the non-H&A melee. Granted it was side by side... but it did confirm for me that I want H&A melee in my bracelet. I dunno, I'd go to a couple of stores if I were you and figure out what you want for yourself.

Call and ask them about the quality of the melee. There are different grades. It might help your decision making process.

I think they can get great melee at ID, just call and ask and tell him you are on pricescope. he has some fantastic diamonds but he also sells run of the mill stuff, so you have to specify. He comes from a long line of diamond cutters, so he knows the good stuff and can definitely get his hands on it

Luann assured me that the diamonds are all of excellent cut quality and are hand picked, which sounds good to me. Mind you, I've never seen H&A melee IRL so I can't compare!

I'm still pretty set on this bracelet, but only wear yellow gold. Do you think it would look alright?

(Oops, sorry, threadjack!)

Have you decided on something, Orbaya?

I'm not going to lie, the pair of huggie earrings I bought which I paid $500-something for (I believe they're now close to $700) are nice, but I wouldn't pay a dime more for them. They are .63 and quite lovely, but I don't think most PSers would think the diamonds are up to snuff. For $500 I can't complain too much however... you get what you pay for. I thought they were just fun fashion earrings.

Also, it always gives me pause when I'm told to tell a vendor I'm a PSer. Would a vendor take me for a fool otherwise? I sure hope a vendor would treat everyone the same! I did in fact tell the owner of ID Jewelry I'm a PS member. Again, I'm not complaining but I simply don't think most PSers would think the diamonds on my particular set of earrings are particularly excellent. I want to make it clear that I'M not unhappy with them -- quite pleased, actually, given the price. I don't know about the quality of their other jewelry.

I thought the owner was personable and nice to work with and have no complaints about the service.
