NEW PHOTOS ADDED BELOW... I'd really love to hear everyone's thoughts!!!!

I'm not sure how many of you followed my threads in Rocky Talk but I had some concerns about the stone I picked. That is COMPLETELY gone - I LOVE LOVE LOVE my stone; it sparkles like no other ring I've ever seen. Also, there was a debate about the metal used to make my ring - palladium. Now that I have my ring, have seen the incredible detail and the amazingly pure color, I HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering platinum to use palladium as an alternative.

Here she is in her pretty red box! I've never posted pictures before so I may need help... Hope this works...

Here are the details...the color is a little bit off but you get the idea of the engraving. Oh, this was all done by hand using wax casting.

I have other pictures at home that need to be uploaded (including hand and flower pictures) but I probably won''t get to that until this weekend! I''d love to hear comments! What do you all think of the style, stone and metal?

It''s lovely, all the detail is fabulous..

Lovely, could you post specs please? I never get to Rocky Talky, just Show Me the Ring. Also, who made the setting? It looks like a Van-Graff.

Oh it''s gorgeous!!! I''m so glad you are happy!

What a tease those pictures are!!!! Just enough to whet the appetite...

I would LOVE to see more pictures of that beautiful ring, in particular more details of that intricate setting! Lovely!

i think Van Graff makes white gold mixed with palladium, so then you dont have to plate it in rhodium? is it white gold/palladium or pure palladium??

it''s very lovely

I can see why you''d be in love- it''s beautiful! congrats

Thank you all for the wonderful comments!! I''m thrilled to finally have it (it was about a 2 1/2 month wait). I will try try try to post the rest of the pictures tonight if I''m not too exhausted from class!

Lizz- I don''t have the specs on me, but I will post them tonight as well. It is actually a custom-made ring by a mom & pop shop in NYC''s East Village. Everything they do is a custom piece (drawn by hand, wax done by hand, engraving by hand).

froufrou - It is a pure palladium piece (or rather the 950 palladium mix). There are a few threads on this topic in RockyTalk.

Stunning ring!

Oops...I lied...here''s one more artsy fun one. Also, I''d like to thank Lorelei, Rascal, Leonid and Wink for allaying my fears about the stone. Like you all said, there was something special about it when I picked it out, and even though it may not fall into the "ideal" category, it speaks to me and is beautiful in my eyes. Thanks everyone!!!

Here it is...

Not to be jumping the gun but does anyone have suggestions for a band to go with this? I was thinking an eternity band, but will that sit too low below everything else? Does of anyone have pictures of a high setting w/ an eternity band next to it? Thanks again!

Wow, I love the detailing, thanks for the extra shots!!

As for a wedding band, I would love to see similar engraving on that too.
