I cant upload the idealscope as the file is too big.
Im so releaved. They will set the stone for me even though Im getting my setting elsewhere. So happy.
does it sound like a winner?

Numbers look good. Can you post an IS?

Are you preferring that particular color and clarity combo for a reason? I oly ask because you pay a real premium for that combo, and could probably go to a G/VS2 without any noticable difference, maybe allowing you to go bigger. Just thought I''d point it out in case you didn''t know!

Dreamer - that is great! Helps me to see the difference. #2 is better b/c there is less white space, and more of the dark red, is that right? (Still learning here - sorry to chime in, OP!)

Yes, the second diamond shows nice red evenly distributed in the center area of the stone, whereas the first IS shows white/less red in that area, which suggest that the first diamond is not reflecting back to the camera/your eye all of the light that enters it there. Sometimes and Is image just isn''t taken well and it will look lighter, but in this case I think it is a sign of leakage in the first stone. Someone correct me if I am wrong!

THANKYOU DREAMER!!!!
i will ask about this one. I thought I had the idealscope thing all sussed, but im clearly still learning. And I have asked about going a bit bigger so hopefully when they get back to me they will have something for me to look at. SO............ im looking for maximum red but also good amount of black??? is that right?.
If a G VS2 looks just as good............... all the better!

There is a very small amount of what looks like leakage in the IS but I doubt it would be visible in reality and the image might be very slightly tilted, ask one of the gemologists to advise. The stone Dreamer found looks good but I would call that one near h&a due to the hearts image, one of the hearts is off.

And that is why she is a Prosumer! I thought about tilt but it looked fairly evenly distributed so thought it was leakage instead. Good to know that that amount is not really noticable. Actually, I often think that many of the nuances we talk about are probably not that noticable in real life.
