Hehe yesterday was my meeting with Quest Jewelers to reset my e-ring. For some odd reason...I felt compelled to ask to see some asschers. So I was able to see a few regular .25 ct ones. Then I made a comment like "Oh I wish I could see a Royal Asscher to compare these to." Pete, the guy at Quest surprised the heck outta me by saying "Oh really...it just happens I sold a RA to a guy this morning." And he whips out this gorgeous 1.17 H VVS2 RA. *drool drool drool*
It was just gorgeous! And I don''t think RAs look too busy. I was however surprised at how deep the stone was (even though I knew this to begin with). I also noticed a touch of color in the RA from the side which my fiance was like yeah right! Well at least I know for the future if I ever get an EC or asscher that I am pretty color sensitive in those.
Lmurden showed up later on and we got to play with the RA in a temp setting.
So if anyone is in the DC area and wants to see a RA in person go visit Quest!
