Well, I think they turned out gorgeous, I had my AI friend stick 'em under a microscope, he said they didn't look like cz anymore, used a diamond tester on 'em, said they tested like diamond, but (of course) still have the weight for a 7.5 mm cz, rather than diamond.
All in all, I think the experiment was a success, they are a little less hard than diamond now, (about a 9) but harder than CZ, making them less likely to whiten out. Since the cuts are so great, I'd not hesitate to use them where a diamond is contraindicated, like in travel jewelry.
