I am considering this diamond from Whiteflash, and would like your opinions. It would be set in a four-prong pendant. It looks pretty good to me, but I want to make sure I am not overlooking anything. Based on the pictures, it is clearly not an H&A (nor is it priced as one) because a few of the arrows are distorted. I love the pictures of diamonds with sharp, clean arrows that are posted here, but will it make much difference in normal viewing conditions? Do you really see those arrows clearly IRL? The symmetry is only very good, but I have been told I will not see a difference between VG and excellent.
Also, I am not an expert at “reading” IS images. Should I be concerned that the middle area (the circle just inside the arrow heads) is a light red/pink rather than dark red?
The price is comfortably within budget, so I could spend a little more for a better cut. However, I know stones in this size are rare and I really like the combo of F color and medium blue fluorescence.
The HCA score is 0.7 or 0.9 (depending on whether I use the GIA report #s or the Sarin #s), within the TIC range, EX/EX/EX/VG.
WF says the stone is eyeclean and beautiful. Are there any other images or information I should request?
