I need Advice on this Round Stone

Hello,

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a stone.

She wants as big as possible. I disagree, I think Cut is the most important feature of a round. With that said I am only interested in Ideal Cut diamonds.

Here is one that I found, while it is more than I intended to spend, it seems perfect as she will be pleased saying it's 2+ carats.

I would greatly appreciate your opinions, and feel free to shoot me why this is not a good diamond. You will not offend, I appreciate your direct opinions. It seems like I am missing something with this stone compared to others. The color looks closer to H or I to me and when viewing it in 20x compared to other choices it seems better.

Any and all opinions and education is greatly appreciated.

This is a beautiful diamond and there is nothing wrong with it! However, I can promise you that an AGS J is not going to look like an H or I color. AGS is sometimes a little soft on color, but this stone doesn't look like a really low J from the video. Seeing in real life lighting is the best way to be sure.

I think you are very wise to get the largest stone you can in ideal cut. If you don't think she'll mind a little warmth, then this would be a very nice choice!
