I need a new name

Not much help here, I’m afraid. All I could think of is..,

Steph-the-good-stuff-finder, AKA Steffinds.

Which is just a little too close to Stepfords for comfort!

@VRBeauty well I do live in CT so I could be a Stephord Wife LoL

@rainydaze,

Antique Epiphanie is another good one. There is a lot to work with here

Alright. I’ll jump in. How about Steph’s Crown since Stephanie means crown. Or Stefania or Estefania? So exotic. :read:

@Slick1, maybe I was royalty in a prior life!

Your suggestions reminded me of a woman I used to work with, she was Polish and decided my name was Stephanya. She called me that for years!

Steph, I'm very bad at coming up with clever names, but I look forward to your new persona!
Does this mean that Stephanie Lynn the OEC has to change her name too?

Other suggestions from him that do not include my name:

YadaYadaYada
Vandelay Industries
GoodnightSeattle

At least it's not from an 80's toy line ;-)

I'm with him on these...

You can call her whatever you want as long as I can try her on when I visit someday!

I like StephanieLynn. I don’t think it sounds formal. But of course you have to like it. I think it’s a lovely name.

me too !

if you change your name how will i know its you ?

No worries @Daisys and Diamonds, I will come back and update this thread but now you have me second guessing if I should change it. Funny how I would rather have something a bit more fun and more me but Stephanie is my real name so how much more "me" can you get! LOL!

I'd love to start a thread on how folks got their IRL first names but not sure if people would be open to sharing, that lifts a bit of anonymity.

It might just be the prosecco but Stephoney sounds good right now!

It has the word play of Steph-funny & Steph-honey lol

@TheGarnetGirl, friend you need to slow down with that Prosecco......so you can share with me ;)

I vote for Steph. I’m guessing that is what those close to you call you. You are a warm genuine person. I think Steph fits you perfectly.

Aw thanks @Calliecake, much love to you. Yes, I am Steph or Babe but Babe is definitely out lol!

I haven't liked my name for a while, to me it sounds too formal and pretentious and that's not a reflection of who I am.

I'm terrible at this so anyone care to make a suggestion. I'd like "Steph" in there somewhere I was thinking of putting "vintage" in too. No idea.

Yes this is very first world problem but I thought maybe a fun distraction.

Peoney

Another vote for VintageStephCut

@Ceilimom
@AprilBaby

Thanks for your suggestions, I've reached out to the mods about having my name changed, I'm sure they are busy in the current climate.

If I can, I'll go with what @Callicake suggested it's simple and not long or hard to remember and folks will still known it's me as @Daisys and Diamonds brought to my attention, that could be an issue too.

Haahaaa!
Yada Yada Yada is hilarious!

And this was my first choice before Callie's suggestion. That episode of Seinfeld aired the year I graduated high school, talk about feeling old!

Are you sure you need a new name? I love your name

I like your name as is. We all know you as StephanieLynn. It's great the way it is. Mind you, I chose Begonia :roll:

A little fun play with the name Steph, perhaps?

My husband and I have recently been rewatching Seinfeld episodes. It's still hilarious. Nothing quite like it. Makes me miss the 90's.

Have you watched Frazier? If not there is another series to check out!
