I happen to like diamonds less white than K, and Good Old Gold has precision cut L, M, N, and O rounds. They are incredible. They have the color of light straw. To me it's so beautiful.

I also happen to like their August Vintage Cut diamonds, available with differently shaped and sized cutlets, giving a great range of choices. This is another indication of true creativity and vision.

I'm sorry if this sounds like an 'advertisement.' It's nothing of the sort. It's just my ramblings to let you all know what this 'newbie' with 2,000 posts found out about online diamond buying choices after researching diamonds at this wonderful pricescope site.

Thank you, Pricescope, and thank you, GOG, for giving me the context and the freedom to learn about diamonds and to find the kind of diamonds that make me happy as an individual. May all of us with this love of diamonds be as lucky.

CraftedbyInfinity does that too for princess and rounds.

Thanks Dan and your sentiments are greatly appreciated.

I have to tell ya my appreciation for the warmer colors didn''t begin until pointed out to me by consumers like you and particularly in the vintage facet designs.

It is for that reason our noted 1.74ct O IF, as beautiful as it is, is being recut to an August Vintage OEC. Today it departs.

When it comes back though may end up in a ring for me, unless of course it sells fairly quickly in its new form.

A number of warmer ones will also be cut/recut and in this new year have a couple of new ideas in taking traditional shapes and maximizing their performance. Once again thanks because without our clients we would be nowhere.

Have a great New Year.

From all of us at GOG.

Unfortunately no. Although it was one of the most precision cut H&A''s i''ve ever seen, that alone is not saleable enough as it is and has collected dust too long. As Danny (and others) noted the warmer colors lend themselves to vintage facet structures and even moreso IMO to August Vintage. Our AV line in warmer colors are IMO much better looking as the pastels reflected off the facets lend themselves to the warmer tones of K and under in a special way that is not seen in a Hearts & Arrows. That and a few others are going in for recut as I gave them till Christmas to see if there was any movement on them. I''m pretty excited about doing this.

THE O IF IS DYING!

For_you_"O"_

Queenmum come save it!

Drama aside - It will make one beautiful August vintage. Hmmm, and August vintage channel set band might be cool (and match my wedding band/jewelry style)

Interesting to hear that you think the lower colors work well with the AV facets patterns, Rhino. I am not a fan of lower colors in RBs, but I think that I would try out a lower color in these cuts for a different overall look.

I''m a big fan of warmer colors, going from a K to an S-T.

I remember the fan favorite 1.74 O IF. But as an August Vintage OEC...? *drools*
