Hi,

I just put this stone on hold. I''m planning to have it set in a 6-prong platinum "tiffany-style".

How does it look to you experts? I''d really appreciate any comments.

That is an awesome price, too.

I just spent ~12,900 on a 1.41 carat G VS1 (incredibly clean VS1) H&A -- so for only a few bucks more you''re getting a fair amount more size, plus the specs on that stone are wonderful!!

Definitely go for it, its a great size too -- especially for a solitaire setting!

Great choice!!!!

Can''t go wrong with this beauty!!!

I also have 1.6 ct. H VS1 and mine was a little more than this one! So you did great!!!!!

VERY nice selection - tough to get any better than that!

I haven''t checked the HCA score, but I like how the combination of the slightly longer lower girdle percentage and slightly smaller table percentage look together. It is a really nice contrast balance, and I like the length of the arrows tips to the shafts. The circle in the middle isn''t too big and the arrow shafts are not too fat or too skinny. I don''t see how you could go wrong.

Are you going to get it?

You know, I''ll second that, Lumpkin. I''ve got a 1.41 that has nearly the identical % table (and other proportions) and the fire that the diamond produces is really excellent and definitely my favorite aspect of a diamond over another type of gemstone.

Sold.
