I have a setting but need a diamond.

Hello,

I found a setting that I really like on Etsy and they said they can sell me just the setting without a diamond. I want to purchase a diamond from James Allen but am not sure if they will set the diamond in my setting?

will they do this or can someone recommended a place that will take a already owned setting and diamond and set them together?

Does she want an oval stone? And do you know what she likes about it? I dont think the setting will be very well made or solid given the price. And I can't tell if the accent stones are diamond or not.

Here is a similar one. The setting should cost in the realm of 800-1100. The etsy one is 300, which is a massive red flag. Your gf will want a high quality setting that will last rather than having stones fall out, or other issues.

Yeah she wants an oval diamond. I requested that the side stones be natural diamond and they said they can do that. I’d prefer to get both pieces at the same places but she really likes the scalloped look to this one with the circle side stones which I’ve had trouble finding.

How much did they quote you for natural diamond side stones? I think you can find a similar look that is higher quality
