It''s a 2.6ct bright blue indicolite tourmaline. It has a bunch of bubbles in it but I couldn''t resist the color. The vendor says that they don''t detract from it in person but we shall see.

Wow, that is neon! Gorgeous.

LOVE the color!!!!

Gorgeous color!

And I just want to say that I would probably buy it despite the bubbles too. You can just pretend it''s a hot tub.

I hope you love it!

I would not care about the bubbles either. I

Fantastic color! Cannot wait to see pictures of this beauty once you have it. The cut does not look shabby, which might help mask (or detract from) any bubbles that might have been visible.

The color is just fantastic! Post lots of pics when it arrives!

Mmm that color!!!

That''s no indicolite! What a colour!

Seriously, I''ve never seen an indicolite that colour but I have seen some paraiba-like tourmalines like that.

I''m pretty excited to see how it looks in real life. I don''t actually expect it to be as neon-y as the pictures but hopefully it''s still pretty bright. The vendor had it listed as indicolite because they hadn''t tested it for copper content and made no claims that it''s a copper bearing tourmaline.

On a side note, online package tracking for the USPS sucks. They''ve been stuck at "Electronic notice of shipping info received" for the past 3 days.

USPS doesn''t track per se, it will say that until your package arrives at your local PO. Hope you get it soon! If the color is even close it''ll be an amazing stone.

What a divine color! Reminds me of the color of water that I saw when sailing around the British Virgin Islands. That is one stunning hue!

Well, even though I probably should have signed for it, the package was sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work today. I''m having a tough time getting an accurate picture. This first one was taken in a low light room with flash. It''s somewhat brighter than it appears to my eyes.

This one was taken in a light box and with flash. It''s showing a lot darker than it appears to my eyes.

On my hand. It''s big and deep!

Kismet - honestly that''s not an Indicolite! It''s sensational! Yummy!

Wow! I think it''s gorgeous! How do you feel about the inclusions?

There are two that stand out when I inspect it closely but they don''t really detract from it.

The true color is somewhere between the bright and the dark pictures but more towards the bright.

Wow, how pretty!

Very pretty. What are you going to do with it?

Heh, I don''t know. I''m open to suggestions though. :)

Love the colour

The colour is still pretty good in your picture. I think it''s worthy of being set if you can handle looking at the inclusions.

Gorgeous color!
