just waiting for the insurance co to coordinate with GOG

Thanks Pricescope!!!! And biggest thanks to stone cold!

It looks good Diver, the most suitable out of the stones available in your price range and desired specs, check with Jon that it is eyeclean to your standards and that the clouds can't be seen.

Agree with Lorelei! Hope this all works out with your insurance company - let us know how it goes!

I talked to Charlie, do I just call GOG and ask for Jon???

The depth on it is ok then too?? Charlie said it was a beautiful stone.

My INS adjuster was fine w me using GOG. They are motlre concerned with like for line and this is the same shape, close in size, going into my original setting etc. She just needs their estimate is all.

Its the best one out there at the moment diver that I can see, yes the depth is fine. Sounds like your insurance co is cooperative too which is great! You could ask for Jon's opinion on it but Charlie has a great eye!

I''m sure any of the staff can help you but Jon would talk to you too as long as he is available.

So glad this seems to be working out - it should be a beautiful stone - hopefully even better than the first! It is never anyone''s desire to lose or damage their original stone but when it does happen, I like to see them get a little extra something out of it - bigger size, better color or better cut!

Lorelei & Missgotrocks,

Thanks for your input. I showed my hubby the stone picture and he did one of these:

He felt bad for me having my stone damaged, I was in tears on Friday and then started getting an awful headache waiting to file my claim. I had this nasty tension headache I get when I get stressed until Stonecold pointed me at this stone.

When I called to talk to GOG and got Charlie, he was very excited about this stone & kept talking about how beautiful it is. Beautiful...hmmm...sounds like a quality I can live with.

I told him my primary concern is having a stone that lights up like crazy because I have a bezel setting, it blocks a lot of light.

They are SO NICE there. Helpful, quick to respond. Love it.

My insurance adjuster gets a shout out too. She has been very great to work with so far. *fingers crossed*.
Now I just have to ship my ring off to GOG to get the ball rolling.

*leaves for post office*

I am so happy for you!! It is a stressful thing to go through but I think you''re getting yourself a beautiful stone that will make some of your pain and suffering worthwhile!

Now that you''ve shipped your ring, sit down, relax, get that glass of wine, and think beautiful diamond thoughts - you deserve it!!
