I have a diamond with a laser inscription BB6397601.

How can I find the cert for this stone? I don't want to have it pulled and weighed at this time

It is not a brand inscription that I recognize, if it were also inscribed with a lab report number, such as GIA 123456789 then you could look it up online using their report check feature. But without that information, you're probably going to have to pull the stone and start from scratch.

Note that a similar question was posed https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/need-help-with-inscription.75986/ back in 2008 to no avail.

Hmm, it starts with BB -- is that by any chance a Ben Bridge Forevermark inscription number?

I believe it is but Ben Bridge hasn't been much help.

That's too bad, as the number is likely proprietary to them and the info won't be with another company.

Talk to the seller. If they can't give you useful information, ignore the inscription and rely on your own skills or your own grader (which you should probably do anyway).
