I Hate Waiting!!!

Anyone else with me on this? I live in an instant gratification world and I *am* an instant gratification girl!

So I ordered my new ring and have shipped off my diamond by registered mail to be set. Now I wait until the estimated shipping date, 8/12 *twiddles thumbs*.

My ring is coming on Thursday but my FI won''t let me see it until Friday at our official handing off speech I already told him be careful what you drink on thursday because you may be in a very deep sleep so I can sneak a peek at it.

I love, love, love this setting you have chosen. From what I remember you are also getting the wedding band, correct? I know you have to wait, but it will be SOOOOO worth it in the end!

I am waiting to get the ring I ordered for my GF. It has been months. (because of me and $$) I first purchased the diamond, and had to wait to purchase the setting while gog held the diamond. The setting should be in its last week of being made/sent from precision set.

I try not to think about it, but I am like a kid when I order something.

Aww, thanks for checking in, blackberry! I am actually getting anxious (in a not fun sort of way) because I expected my diamond to get there by now and it hasn't. I actually went to check the FAQ's on the USPS website to see how long registered mail is supposed to take. I was mildly pacified to find that registered mail can take "longer."

Yup, I'm getting a matching band, beechezz. But I held off on ordering it to make sure the size was good on the e-ring. Can't wait


Capt., whoa, that's a LONG time to wait. Truth be told, I suppose I've been waiting years (haha, I don't mean that in a way of comparison. Only commiserating!). Been married 10 yrs this year. We bought my e-right with a diamond we'd always keep but a dispensable setting. Well, it has taken a long time to be able to update the setting. We actually chose this setting as one we'd eventually take my diamond out of (25 yrs or something!) and put our girl's birthstone in.

Oh My Gosh! That is totally what happened to me. Mine was a full eight day later than expected. Both times that we sent an insured, registered piece of mail to JM ( and he sent it to us) it took seven days. Finally 16 days later it arrived. Just keep breathing and remember every morning when you get up "Today could be the day!"
