I got this beautiful emerald for my 50th Birthday and it's my birthstone

Hubby made this for me. He spent a lot of time searching for the right stone and this has been graded the highest for an emerald. I totally love the setting and the look of the ring.

What a present!

The others are my sapphire an diamond engagement ring which I adore as it was from an antique ring store and the chevrolet ring as my son calls it, a 40th birthday gift and a cute little ruby and diamond I picked up in an antique shop. The small green oval stone ring I was under the impression it was emerald but looking closer at it under my microscope I have a sneaky suspicion it's actually jade! Anyone know any way to tell apart from testing?

I love your collection, especially the ruby cluster!! I am intrigued by the new emerald. It is not what I am used to seeing emeralds look like, but I do not have any or know anything about them!
