what i think i asked for -

2mm stones in a 2.8mm band, round cut stones pave set, eternity style. milgrain edge, platinum.

this is the confirmation description i received...

Additional
Band: 2.8 mm wide to use 2.00 mm stones /
square / pave top side all around
Pave type: Bright cut with millegrain
Stones

my question is - what does ''square'' refer to??

Hi Whitby! I think 'square' refers to the brightcut pave, which has edges on either side of the pave, which is necessary for the milgrain edge. So, the top of the shank is 'square,' as opposed to, say, mushroom or v-cut pave, which doesn't have the edges. I think?

p.s. - I meant to tell you that although I don't post a whole lot, I always enjoyed reading your posts and am so glad that you're back too!

thanks so much, jjc - that's what i'm hoping! i'd just never heard it described this way. in my head, pave is always round (stones), but when i saw this i started to wonder...

and i'm so glad you enjoy my posts! i'm so wordy - i often think PS'ers are very polite and patient with me!

After reading that I was wondering what millegrain stones were (scratch head).

I would have been confused too!
