I''ve been doing my diamond education over the last two months and think I have it narrowed down to two stones.

Stone A / Stone B
6.86 X 6.93 X 4.20 / 6.94 X 6.99 X 4.31
1.20 carat / 1.25 carat
VS2 / VS2
Color: F / Color F
Depth: 60.9% / 61.5%
Table: 56% / 56.1%
Crown Angle: 34.6% / 34.9
Pavilion Angle: 40.9% / 40.9%
Culet: 0.4% / 0.5%
Polish: Excellent / Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent / Excellent
Fluorescence: None / None
HCA (score from pricescope): 1.5 / 1.8
Price: $8192 / $8499

Any comments would be appreciated!!! My hope is to wrap this up in the next day so this weekend I can pop the question.

Thanx!!!

Uhhhhh, I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Perhaps you should choose according to whether it's more important to get her a larger stone or to save $300? Or, if they're from different vendors, which one would give you a better mix of services?

if .05 of a carat is worth 300 bones to you, go with stone B

They both sound beautiful! Do you want a slightly larger stone or a cheaper one? It's up to you!

Are you going to have to cut these Siamese twins apart at the hip?

If not, I like the 1.20 better. A little better light return performance at a little better price.

man oh man, what a choice! great stones either way! i'd have to agree and go with if $300 is worth it to you to get the bigger stone go for it. believe it or not, you can see such a minute difference in size, albeit very slight.

i would go with the smaller stone and apply the difference towards a platinum setting!
the differnce is only in the size, and it is not that noticeable.

shop more sites and compare prices before you make the decision

good luck

Thats a toughie. I like both...but I think stone #1 has a cuter crown angle

But the diameter is a little out of round? Hmm. Maybe stone #2? It's a little bigger. Oh but its a little deeper too. Hmm. Eeeny meeny...

Good luck. You have two gorgeous picks there.
