YAY ! Congratulations on the engagement and a STUNNING ring!

Congrats! Your stay as a LIW was a short one! It's beautiful. Can you see the fluorescence in certain lighting?

It's beautiful!!! Enjoy it and congrats!!

Gorgeous, I love everything about it! The size, the color, the flour, the setting. It is truly perfect!

Thanks everyone!!!!! I've never seen a diamond sparkle so much - I weeded out the ENTIRE virtual database from 2.6ct to 4cts/D-G based on cut/HCA score! In fact, when I first got it, I was wondering if it was a little TOO sparkly - like it was a fake? I had never seen a diamond like this before! SandyCheeks - I got it at ID Jewelry, and Yekutiel even mentioned your ring! I had to laugh because I had been admiring your 3ct N a week or two on Pricescope before I went to pick out diamonds!

ID Jewelry was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was not planning to work with them originally, but it turned out that they were the only NY office open at the time (James Allen was appt only, booked) and they matched prices!

I LOVE the blue fluor - I don't really notice it much, but hey, an F is not a D so it can always use a little "help." I've got one iphone photo of it looking pretty blue in the sunlight, I think it's pretty cool. That's why I had been asking so many questions re: jewelers and fluor - I don't get why it's "bad." And it doesn't sound like there's a real reason why it is.

MissGotRocks - Wedding band-wise, I'm thinking a thin diamond band that sits FLUSH with the setting. I know Vatche has some, but the diamonds were channel/bead?-set, which isn't my favorite. .... I think I might go the custom route - I'm thinking a slim band of alternating marquis and round diamonds bezel set (just like the Tiffany Swing bands) that curves to fit the Swan.

It's sooo strange, but the stone's size seems totally average to me now! When I look at other people's stones, they look the same size. I didn't know DSS would strike so soon! I don't mean in the sense that I want bigger, but maybe I have a perception problem!

Thank you guys for all of the compliments! Wow!

Thanks!! Actually, you've got one of the stones that I was like, "HOLY (#*RWE THAT IS GORGEOUS, I NEED TO SEARCH FOR HER SPECS" about!!

How did you take such a good picture with the arrow contrast? Do I have to backlight the stone? I had no idea stones got so dirty so quick!

Wow--your e-ring is a stunner! Your rock totally rocks (ha). Very best of wishes to you and your new FI!

LOVE it!!!! Your ring is stunning!!! That is a rock and the setting is beautiful!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :appl: :appl:

I love it WOW!

 your rock rocks my heart

gorgeous diamond!! congrats on your engagment!

Thanks everyone!

Phewwww, I've been trying to keep away from this site after I got my ring so that I won't get DSS!! Though my ring looks so NORMAL to me now.

It does sometimes look blue in sunlight! It's really cool! It's only medium blue, so I wonder what VSB would look like.

and I DO think fluor will catch up in value to non fluor, or at least match.

This is one of my favorite solitaire setting everrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous stone too!

ROCK is an understatement! WoWee!!!! Congrats....
