I found GLAAD's trans glossary very helpful

The world is changing fast.
Ignorance and fear are being replaced.
Happily another group of our brothers, sisters, and those who may not fit into that 2-group thinking are coming out of the shadows.

I consider myself to have the best of intentions.
But I admit I am confused about much of this, so I'm glad I found this.
