I found a diamond...Need advice on a halo setting

You guys helped me find a .76 princess cut diamond. I really want to set it in a nice halo setting but I am having trouble picking one. I wish I could afford a designer setting but I think its out of my budget. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for your help throughout this process.

I would like to spend around 1500 if possible. The reason I bought a smaller stone is that I think quality is important, and I feel the same way about the setting and this may be a problem. I want a designer setting but can't afford it without going over budget.

I kind of wondered why you had WF ship out the diamond without a setting! But that is the best place to have set a princess stone due to the fragile nature of those pointed corners! I realize this one is a little above budget, but I like it better than most of the others:

I agree. You should also check b/c Pearlmans used to cover the stone if you bought a setting from them even if you didn't buy the stone from them.
