So about six months ago I bought a diamond to set in my wedding ring. I had a plain engagmentring ( thats how we nordics do it) and wanted a rock!
I discovered the lack of knowledge Swedes have about diamonds, so after hours of investigation and reading a lot of posts on pricescope, I decided to get a J colored 0.6ct GIA certified diamond.
The proportions aren't ideal, but far far better than anything I would have gotten buying a set ring. It has a 1.1. Score on the HCA, and I think it is sparkly and just stunning!
Table 58
Depth 61.8
Crown 33.5
Pavilion 41
In swedish standards it's big and " a lot",but I absolutely love love love it!
The color has worried me slightly, but now that it is set with G side stones, I can, if I look carefully and in certain angles, notice color difference, but unless you know about it, you don't notice it.
I Can't wear it until January 30th, but I have to admit I cheat at home, sometimes
Thank you all the people who helped me out when still choosing, and thanks for reading my post
Ps. Sorry about poor quality pictures, they're taken with my phone
