Those are stacked band''s.
They are not sitting on top of each other.

Look. There''s space between them.

hmmm... I don''t know how I feel about a ring that looks like it''s stacked but is not.
What type of gems were in the gemstone ring?
Here''s the ring:
http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=316

The other one was a round or oval blue moonstone (his favourite), flanked by pink sapphire pears.
Those are stacked band''s.
The highlighted says something else; are those blue moonstones? I want to see it but see bands.

I still say cool beans sometimes LOL But I also say ''dude'' way too often for a 37 year old.
Do you also say ''tote def?''
never heard THAT before... what does that mean? and how is it pronounced? I spent my formidable years in san jose cutting school to drive over to santa cruz so I could pick up on surfers... hehehehe I married one too though he hasn''t worn a wetsuit since we''ve been married LOL

Oh, that one! There''s no photo on Leon''s website.

nope, no one here said "tote def" or rather in CA when I was younger, though I''m sure I have at least 10 years on each of you LOL

We did say totally a lot and I still do, yikes! we used to say bitchen and killer but those have lost my vocab thankfully.... "totally cool" has not, alas. I also still say "hey man" and "that''s awesome" LOL

I hope I never grow up!

Harriet, I''m really happy for you, I hope it''s everything you want it to be!

Thank you, Ellen.

Harriet, I can''t wait to see your new Leon! That is my #1 pick for my much anticipated (and delayed) upgrade later this year. BTW, did you make any alterations to the design? How wide will the shank be? How exciting!

What upgrade?! Do tell!
No alterations -- I''m leaving it in the master''s hands. The shank will be skinny (I daren''t say how skinny).

It''s all one piece- one ring, but looks like 3 stacked bands.

There should be a way to get a "loaner" ring while your ring is being re-set. Like when you take your car to the dealership to have it serviced and they give you a loaner to drive around for the day while it''s in the shop.

Tote def. I could put a coloured stone in the setting.

My 1 ct. e-ring was stolen a few months back so my new ring will be a combination ''e-ring replacement/25th anniversary'' ring. (So another vote for insurance regarding your other post!!) I''m thinking a 2.5 ct. cushion (from ERD of course!) in that gorgeous Leon setting you''ve chosen. BTW, is it normal to get DSS before you even get the diamond? Seeing all of the gorgeous rocks on this forum have me second guessing the size!

I''m sorry about your stolen e-ring, but I''m excited about your cushion. I''d love one myself.
Lol. I don''t know.

I''ll be waiting it out while on vacation. If only I had my rolling ring back.

When does the rolling ring come back and when do you leave?

BTW What caused you to drop in ring size, if you don''t mind me asking?

Of course not. GERD, better known as acid reflux. Or maybe just not eating well.

I have GERD, too

It''s certainly no fun. My food choices are much more limited. Boo, hiss for GERD. I hope that yours is becoming more manageable, Harriet.

You too!
