LOL! I was about to say the same thing but you beat me to it!

Shortening the straps does work wonders, though - especially for us older folks.

Sometimes when I shorten the straps, I fall out the bottom. What causes that?????

Your band size is too big.

Have you ever been fitted? I used to think I was about a 36C, but in reality I was probably a 34D (or even DD). Then I lost 30+ lbs and now I''m a 32D or a 34C, depending. (Sometimes even a 34B, but that just depresses me, so I generally go with the C!
9.gif
)

ETA: The first few days you wear the new tighter band size you''ll feel like you''re being strangled from the boobs down (and up!), but seriously, it make a difference and you''ll get used to it fast!

Dee, no I have never been fitted. Macys measured me once, when I lost weight. Where do I go to be fitted.?

Somebody had posted the link to a great bra fitting site recently on another thread. The site went on for pages with explanation on bra types, fits, symptoms of a bad fit, etc.

I''ll have to see if I can recover the link.

Ok thanks Blu. Thanks too Dee. I love this thread.

Or, alternatively, because I find it helps, reach down inside and reposition the girls to both point the same direction - at the same level!

Works wonders!

It does work! I do this a lot and DH just looks at me like I''m slightly off.

Well, you gotta do what you gotta do!! Gravity takes its toll, and they can wind up looking a bit asymetrical as the day wears on. It''s best to realign one''s ''headlights'' . . . especially if you happen to be a bit chilly.
3.gif
''Cause they sure can look odd if they aren''t identically propped -- and everyone knows it!

Haha.

Great thread - really lifted my spirit!

I agree with getting a proper fit, but do you ladies find that you are a different size depending on the bra type? For a t-shirt bra, I''m a 34C. I couldn''t believe it at first, I have a small, sporty build. When I went bra shopping last I decided that I wanted a non t-shirt bra. I couldn''t get the sizing right. The cups wrinkled even if I went all the way down to an A cup, but in a t-shirt bra a 34C fits perfectly, no empty spaces.

Here''s another bra option that eliminates the back bacon: link

Here''s a thread we had a while ago: link

Seriously, these things are great!
I am wearing this first one you posted right now by maidenform - it''s good for back fat, AND SUPER comfortable because it''s seamless around the back - i love it!

This may have been the site I was thinking of. It seems to have similar content, in any case.

ACK Holly, I hate that look. I always carry my purse over my chest, ha ha ha. And why do men always have to stare at womens chests in cold weather.

No need Mrs. Linda. I was adjusting my straps this morning and not 15 minutes ago I was in the bathroom making sure the ladies were even, the airconditioning just kicked on. I''m already there. Been thinking about getting a ''lift'' myself in a few years.

My mom told me the other day I need botox. Can you believe that? What kind of mother tells their daughter to inject poison into their face for vanity.

I tried that. I hiked them up too much, causing the bra to cut into my boobies, which immediately multiplied them into four boobies.
I think I got ''em too tight: they''re stuck up behind my RB .90ctw studs.....HELP??!!!! How to disengage the boobies without damaging the bling?????

Awh... I really wanted to post a pic of the fake n*pples here! But I don't want to offend the mods.

I know. John was startled into snorting out a laugh (quickly smothered). Afterwards he was like... "That was such a classic Your Mom moment." Which it was. She had no idea why I objected either. When I did she just looked blank and said, "Wouldn''t you rather hear it from me than have a stranger tell you?"

I can see it now, I''m walking down the street and random strangers tell me I need botox.
