I tried so hard to stay away so as not to be tempted... but I couldn't resist.

Whilst at Precious Metals today getting quotes for my new project, I picked up this cute little thumb ring

Specs off the top of my head - 20 F-H VS1-SI1 ideal cut 0.15 pointers beadset in 18k white gold. - EDITED because I am a doofus. The 20 diamond melee totals .27ct, which works out to be 0.135ct, not 0.15 ct

EDITED AGAIN because I obviously should not have had that last glass of wine. Last try - it's 0.0135 ct, not 0.135 ct. Thanks pyramid!

Then go GET one. A thumb ring, or call it a pinky ring or whatever. It's really inexpensive if you decide to get it from Signed Pieces and the quality is awesome for the price you pay. It only takes 7 to 10 days for "custom" work. Mine was considered custom work even though I paid the normal price.

I've been thinking about getting an eternity ring since my 3 stone ring project was completed, or shall I say since BEFORE the 3 stone ring was completed

I finally gave in this afternoon and ordered a custom made one from Precious Metals. This thumb ring is 'half eternity' if there's such a thing. I needed something to tide me over

till I get my new ring.

I promise to be good now, but I don't think I am 'finally free', to paraphrase Jennifer

Hee hee Reena, I gotta agree with chrono on this one. Just stop by while visting Leon to check on your ring and make a small diversion. It is really quite affordable and they have some old stock on clearance right now at great prices if you can find your size.

I love thumb rings...and a diamond one? Wow! the ultimate indulgence...My jeweler has this style in a pinky ring...I always try it on...but the thumb is just too cool....wheels are turnin'
