Number 1 has a unique design but there is a lot going on!!!
I personally prefer the classic and balanced look of number 2

Which one do you prefer yourself? That's the most important factor.
Are the existing setting or will you have a ring handmade for you?

#2 seems far more classic than the first option. A wedding band would work nicely with this split shank halo. IMO, a wedding band on the first would be overkill.
