Hi, my name is Circe, and I'm addicted to eternity bands. And I can't say I consider it a problem!
I procrastinated on this one like it was my job. Some of you might have seen my thread over in RT about getting this: first I ordered a 1.5 tcw baguette band off of eBay, but when it turned out, 6 stones were badly burnt. I took it to Yekutiel at I.D. Jewelry, and he did everything he could to restore it short of swapping the stones - acid baths, the works - but, sadly, it wasn't salvageable (short of swapping the stones, which I could have done, but ... eh). So I sent it back and wandered the jewelry district and stumbled across this gorgeous thing in the window of a shop I've passed (and admired) a thousand times! It turned out to belong to Stephen Herdemian, who runs http://www.shantiques.com. Good, nay, great prices on vintage: to quote one of my favorite books, he deals "with the casual insouciance of a judge at a cat show" - I'd recommend him highly if you're not high-maintenance. And what is it I got?
A platinum eternity band of carre cut diamonds totalling roughly 2.5 carats tw - they're vs clarity at the lowest, and a visual match for my D-color round eternity band.
Many more pics to follow ... (as is only mete, given that I let a month pass between the purchase and the posting!)
