Wedding I bought my dress!!! AND PRICESCOPE gals helped!!

Hey everyone!

I am so excited. So I went dress, shopping, feeling really pressured. Went to the first store, tried on about a million gowns. Hated them all. My mom was actually getting super frustrated. Then spur of the moment, called a place for an appointement that had a dress that I had said "I am not buying until I try that dress, because it feels like the one"

So spur of the moment. 4 o''clock appointment made today (The girl on the phone said "we''re going to find your dress at 4:00 today" I went and told her *there''s a dress that I HAVE to try because I won''t purchase until I have tried it on*

She put me in it first. And it was it. Perfect. And the price was about $1500 LESS then my budget.

AND you gals might not remember, but I posted it, asking for help identifying it and Misspinky did!!!

And bonus...my mom (the most difficult to please) actually LOVED it. I came out and there were tears in her eyes.

Perfect dress. Terrific price. They are getting hollow-to-hem for me because I am short.

Allycat so HAPPY! (and telling her guy she bought a a-line/ballgown.

UGH. I actually went back to the dress shop today.

Yesturday she measured me (a little quickly) and they wrote down the measurements. Anyways, when I got home, I was really stressing, because it didn''t seem right. They had ordered a 6 for me saying (the smallest size paloma has is a 4).

But it felt wrong. The girl had measured 33 1/2- 25 - 36. Now I have NO IDEA what my measurements are, but when I told my fiance I bought a 6, he was like "WHAT?" I told him the smallest was a size 4 and he was slightly appeased, but he said, you should have bought the smallest size. Anyways, it started to bother me and so this morning we went to buy a measuring thing and he measured me (although we weren''t sure it was right) I called the bridal shop unsure and they told me to come back and the manager measured me.

Anyways I am a 32- 24- 34 (and I am about 10 pounds over my usual weight, so I can imagine that a would have been WAY too bigThe manager also redid the hollow-to-helm just in case, but that was right. So it''s actually a 4 I needed, so they had to change the order. The manager was kind of angry, and he told the sales associate that you ALWAYS measure twice, and you always check with the customer (in this case I don''t know) but PHEW. I was stressing a little about it this morning.

I''m trying to keep a bit of a low profile around my sister and family, so there''s not a lot of wedding talk, everyone will see me on the board much more then usual, because I can no longer bounce things off my MOH or my mother. They are all really preoccupied with divorce business.

MissPinky! I am so glad you saw my post! I never would have found the dress without you! You deserve ALL the credit! I would have NEVER looked at paloma blanca!

Stargirl: Cool! Same dress. I am keeping the sash. I actually love it, because in real life, I will sometimes wear a sash around a jacket or a blouse. So it''s very me. It might be outdated in a few years but I like it.

Appletini! I never see you on the board much, but I always count on you stopping by. It feels so REAL. My guy is so excited I bought a dress. Wedding is 8 months away and he was getting worried. He said it made it more *real*. I can''t wait too!

bee* I can''t believe he''s falling for it! That''s the worst part. As if I would tell what it really is!! He says at least on our wedding night I won''t be wearing it
