A Nikon? Mochi and TL''s are so inexpensive yet takes beautiful and clear pictures.

I will invest in a Nikon when I want to move up to the SLR type camera. Actually, I was considering a smaller Panasonic (TZ5) for traveling.....

Thanks again so much everyone. It is soooo much easier to get nice pictures with this new camera verses my older Fuji. I would say that 4 out of 5 pictures taken come out nice and crisp while my older Fuji would be more like 1 out of 5. The shutter speed is quick too which is a huge plus when you have a group of people your taking pictures of and they are growing inpatient. It has like 15 different scene modes to take pictures with. It is fun to fiddle with all the settings...

Wow! gorgeous pictures, the colors are really vibrant and the clarity is great! I have had my eye on one of the Lumix for ages now. . . this might push me over the edge! (love my DSLR but sometimes just too much to lug around)
