Wedding I booked a venue!

We're having our wedding in Las Vegas on 11 Oct 2009, and now I know where! We booked the courtyard of Bouchon at the Venetian. We'll have cocktails, then seat everyone for dinner. Once they're seated, we'll have a short wedding ceremony. Then we'll have a toast, and then dinner.

It has the rare advantage for Vegas Strip locations that we can bring our own flowers. We can''t bring our own alcohol, but I''m going to order wine by the case, and they''ll give me a discount.

I chose this after coming up with several other good plans for Vegas weddings or receptions, so if anyone else is looking for ideas, let me know!

Probably! I can''t tell exactly where Tao is (stupid website...) but Bouchon is on the 10th floor rooftop of the Venezia tower. How was Tao? I was thinking the lounge there might be one possibility for afterparty.

It''s true! I was holding off making any decisions because I thought my FMIL and FI would want input. Turns out they were happier with me just making all the decisions. My FI wants veto, but is happy with this place and plan.

Next up: Save the Dates, and find someone to actually do the ceremony.
