Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. It was a very emotional day for all of us. He is so very happy, it warms my heart. He was made redundant twice and he is thrilled to have a good job now. He wanted to join up when he was 17 but was too underweight. He didn't think they would accept him this time but his weight is a lot better now so there was no problem. James was very proud of his daddy!

Maisie I'm glad in a way that you got to be at his passing out. Because you deserved to be there. For all your support to him over the years which led him to this job. So perhaps he is the best him now that there has been to date, and you deserve to have that, if you want it because it is your support, in no small way which got him there. Whether he can make you happy and be a good boy is all to play for and he should want that too - you are a catch to have. I hope he knows what a sh1t he was and has done some serious grovelling.
