Hello and Happy Holidays!!

I have diamonds on the brain and need some help :)

I have a pair of studs from the Shane Co. they are .54 rounds in WG. My husband bought them a few years ago at a smaller size and has upgraded once to the current size. Before we dig ourselves deeper in being chained to the Shane Co forever, I was thinking of trading the studs in for a pair of tahitian pearls studs. This leaves me wanting diamonds though. I only have abouat $500 saved as of now. I love the look of the small bezel, but I also like the martini setting and how you can wear them with jackers. Here are my options...

1. buy a CZ pair and keep saving for one pair
2. buy a tiny bezel pair form WF (.25 ctw in platinum) and start saving for a larger pair to be set in a martini setting ( or they could perhaps be a gift down the road)
3. should I save a bit more and get the .5 ctw bezel at $995 and then save again for larger martini down the road??
4. don''t trade in what I have, keep them until I can save enough?

I am so impatient, that is why this is so hard :)

THANKS!!

I cant live without my diamond studs so any option that has to do with living without until you can buy the big ones wont
work for me. I would keep your current ones and start saving for your big ones. $500 is a really good start. For birthdays
and xmas (and any other gift giving time) just ask the DH to contribute to your diamond fund. When you get enough you
can buy some small ones from a vendor that has a good trade up policy and keep going up from there like you did with
the Shane company.

I would hold tight, continue to save and then check out the stones at BGD. Their stones are cut so close you could take your time and buy one at a time, then when you have 2 stones get them set.

there is a pair of .80ct g si2 studs from a very reputable seller on ebay for 450. they will put them in martini settings for you. I''ve bought alot of stuff from them. they are one of the few sellers i trust on ebay.

I vote that if you can''t live without a pair of diamond studs, then either get the CZs or hold off until you can buy the larger pair you want - I just think any of the other options will eat up too much of your budget.

That is what I thought too. Very suspicious.

I would have to say wait. Impatience and diamonds are usually a bad mix.
