Hello everyone !

I''m very new here, and wanted to share my really cool story.My mother lives in Tucson AZ, and was going to fly down to New York to come dress shopping with me. So I went on the kleinfeld website to browse at some dresses before my mother and I stopped by. I really wanted to be a kleinfeld bride, and knew I had to share the moment with my mom if I did find my gown there. Anyways as I was browsing the site I saw an application to be on the show (say yes to the dress) and I said hey why not. I had few reason why they might want me. 1- I have a man of honor 2- My mom was visiting from AZ to go gown shopping with me and 3- We are having a huge destination wedding in The Wynn las vegas.

Well I got a call the same day, and they wanted me so I did the taping april 20th. It was so much fun, and I did find my dress there. it''s a kenneth pool gown and was designed by austin scarlett from project runway. The minute I put it on I started to sob like a baby. So as soon as I know when the show airs I will let everyone know.

Her name is diana is she is new to the show. She has bangs, and she blond !

I''ve been waiting for the call to tell me when the show will air, and everyone in my job asks me all the time. lol I guess it take time to edit everything. Plus the new season of platinum wedding starts june 1 so its got to be coming out around the same time. I''m just a little nervous, because I dont even remember what I said. I was so nervous and rambled on. My mouth was so dry the whole time lol

I know that the show is always on fridays at 10 on TLC !

OH HOW EXCITING! I love this show, I recorded every episode last season to look back on for reference one day. I''ve been looking every now and then on TLC''s website as well as Kleinfeld''s site looking for when the new season would start. I can''t wait! It would be awesome to get a gown from there since they have SO many to choose from. You are a lucky girl! And I will definitely keep my eye out for you!

Do you think I should call to find out when the show is going to air or should I just wait. The Taping was April 20th ! it will make a month next week.

Thank god I was on that show, because I would never have been able to afford that dress without the half off they give me for being on. My mother and fiance would have had a fit lol

Advice to everyone- try to get on a show so you can get something at a discount lol

Really! Wow that''s awesome. It''s also pretty cool that they chose you to be on the show as well. I would think they get TONS of people trying to be on the show.

I remember one episode there was a gal from another country. She had found a gown that was perfect for her but she couldn''t afford the price. She spoke with Mara and they gave her a discount. Mara had told her well we don''t normally do discounts, but this gown was going to be in the next sale. Strangely enough, they gave her the gown for the exact cost she said her budget was. Made me think hmmm...

Does your fiance know you were filmed for the show? Are you going to allow him to watch it, or will you just tape it and let him watch it after the wedding?

omg girl that''s been my fear! he told me that if he bumps into the channel it''s going to be really hard for him to change it. The good part is that he doesn''t go past channel 26 (baseball of course). I promised I would tape it and he can see it after the wedding.

Dreamgirl – I remember that episode. The bride was from Eastern Europe and Elise was going on about how she knows what it’s like going back to the old country and proving that you’ve made it and making your family proud so that’s when she called in Mara. I thought it was too coincidental that the dress was going to be on sale too. Like you it had me wondering if I could make a similar plea and get a killer dress at a discounted price. Do you have your dress yet? Maybe we can figure out a two for one deal

Yep, that was the one. It had me thinking the same thing. Try something on you are in love with, tell them this is the one, and then tell them that you cant afford it, give them your budget and hope they sell it to you for a lower price. I doubt it though. That was probably just for the camera. haha!

And, I don't have my dress yet because (shhhh) I don't have my ring, Im not engaged yet. (I've got the FF though so Im on my way!) I cant help but look over here in the brides area though! I wish I could go gown shopping!
