Its PERFECT! I, too, was engaged with an asscher solitaire. Asschers are tough b/c you have to have the right setting to maximize the stone size appearance. I think you picked a good one.

And, you did the right thing with the F and vs grading. Most ppl say that asschers don''t sparkle. Mine sparkles like CRAZY! We went with a G and VVS, so you are going to get great sparkle out of this little guy.

One piece of advice if you don''t already know: get her some jewelry cleaner at the drug store, you have to clean asschers weekly if not more to keep them looking sparkly.

+1 - Congrats! She''ll love it and get ready for all the questions about the stone from people as she shows it off. Most people have never seen an asscher in real life (or heard of them) so you will get lots and lots of inquiries. Beadchick is definitely spot on in her comment about cleaning too.
