hypoallergenic watch band pins?

I like watches, but haven't ever been able to wear them (tho I do own a few moderately priced items that I bought "just in case"). The problem is a skin allergy well-advanced enough that I break out in a rash near the lower-grade metal parts within hours of putting one on. I can tolerate leather, or surgical grade stainless, but even then, the areas where the pins are (not even actually TOUCHING me) gets itchy the same day. Has anyone here gotten past this? Google shows some stainless pins here & there, but no mention of quality, and given how common metal-skin allergies are, I thought I'd find a more extensive resource.
