I've been trying to look for diamond earrings for my wife's birthday in July. I'm somewhat of a newbie to diamonds, even though I made it through getting her an engagement ring (with her help, of course) and my wife is borderline a diamond expert (and regular on Pricescope). She suggested I look for them on Whiteflash since they have an upgrade policy and can upgrade them in the fiture if she wishes. I've been looking for months, but just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any other recommedations/suggestions? Below is what I'm looking for:

-about 1.5 ctw
-SI1, willing to go to SI2 to maximize size if eye clean
-her engagement ring is H in color, so thinking I-J

Alright, if your wife suggested WF, I would stay with them as a vendor. It is true that they offer the most competitive upgrade policy.

I love BGD, but upgrades with them require that you upgrade 2 out of 3 (color, clarity, carat)

The WF or BGD matched pairs suggested above by SimoneDi are lovely. Really comes down to whether or not your wife thinks that these will be a "forever" pair of earrings or whether she would like to upgrade in the future. If the latter, WF (unless money is no object in which case either BGD or WF).

I'd either choose the Whiteflash J pairs above, or my preference, I color. The first two are a good match and the last two are a good match. I love Whiteflash and have upgraded my studs a few times! They usually have the best selection of pairs of any vendor.
