Hello!! I present to you a beautifully custom made necklace worth three crafted by infinity diamonds! After I got my engagement ring, my mom is as so impressed with my CBI diamond that she wanted me to help her get her own CBI! Since it is my parent’s 45th anniversary, my mom asked me to help her make a beautiful necklace to celebrate. I thought it would be nice to make a 7 stone necklace since there are 7 members of our family!
I contacted Layla right away and asked if High Performance Diamond would be able to custom make this necklace for us. From the get go, Layla was so helpful in making sure we got the best value for our money... she recommended great stones for our three center stones. She even recommends a great SI2 (like my engagement ring) so that we could stay in budget. Furthermore, we met with John Pollard of CBI and saw many of the diamonds in person! My mom was very indecisive and , although I loved the SI2, she ended up not staying in budget... opting for a bigger diamond with higher clarity!
My mom ended up choosing an 1.10 ct H VS2, 0.52 ct H VS2, and a 0.53 ct H VS1. The three CBI diamonds were paired with four HP Lux diamonds at F/G VS, two were 0.25 ct and two were 0.10 ct. In total, the necklace is about 2.85 ctw. In addition, we got a great price since we got a group pricing discount (if you buy 3 or more CBI).
My mom was also very particular about the chain and Layla helped to search for the perfect 2mm platinum chain. In addition she sent me the CAD and they were exactly as we pictured... didn’t need to make any adjustments at all!
When we got the necklace, my mom was so surprised by how beautiful it was and. how much it sparkled... even the chain sparkled! My dad was so proud (even though he didn’t do anything to help) that he kept saying, “look how it sparkles even in regular home lighting” and insisted that my mom wear the necklace when we see relatives next week.
All in all, we had a great experience and my parents love that this necklace will be a great memento of their 45 years together... and I am happy I get to look at CBI diamonds!
Sorry the photos are no good, the lighting at my parent’s house is too warm. Also, I didn’t want to bug my mom with taking too many photos.
