Hi,

I am looking through the threads and I think I have my heart setout on HPD and a CBI diamond. I didn't see any posts about setting costs. I am looking for something like a 6 prong tiffany solitaire setting, simple and classic. Any idea on setting cost for platinum /18K white gold? I could only find custom settings and to call for a quote on hpdiamonds.com

thoughts on this stone for value? There isn't a plot showing any inclusions or with HPD I shouldn't worry?

As far as settings go, I don't know about the price of the setting you asked about, but I do know that if budget is a concern, HP Diamonds can get any setting you want from Stuller or Adwar Castings, at very reasonable prices. I was very happy with my decision to go with a CBI from HP Diamonds. This was my experience with HP Diamonds:

Great stone and very nice color and clarity combo. Best to contact HPD and have the stone put on hold before someone snatches it from under you. I once contacted Wink at night and got him out of bed to hold a perfectly matched pair of F-VS side stones for me that became HPD Trilogie.


I went through the custom design process with them and it took about 3 to 4 weeks.
It may be a little quicker if you go the stock Stuller or Adwar route it all depends on how many other rings are in the queue ahead of you.

Good luck with your rpoject. It will be gorgeous when finished.

Great news!

Our settings section of the website is still under construction. We do, however, have a large selection of settings at every pricepoint. It just depends what you want. I’m sorry if our website was misleading. If you get in touch with us through the site and answer a few questions for us (finger size, timeline, etc) we can find the right setting for you.
